Welcome to VRT - Value Racing Tips. My name is Robin and I first started betting seriously back in the 1990's then about 10 years ago I found my formula started paying dividends. I refined my methods on a regular basis and over the last four years or so everything has come together very nicely and I now feel I have found the holy grail to making super long term profits.
My passion for the Sport of Kings first came about when I fell ill in early 1990 meaning I had no work for quite a few years. However I had to keep my mind stimulated so I turned to studying horse racing in quite some depth. I now have many years of experience and extreme confidence when it comes to beating the bookmakers and making profits most months of the year.
My VRT service is different to so many others on the market because I give my selections the night before with prices and I advise a BOG bookmaker so before you go to bed at night you could have backed the following days horses.
I will also not advise a horse that is less than 9/4 in price because my goal is always to look for the very, very best value.
For study I tend to use the Racing Post but I also look at all statistics, jockeys, trainers, course, form and owners, I watch video replays and probably one of the biggest parts of the VRT formula Is studying the other horses my selections have raced against previously as this is where the knowledge and experience comes into play. I also hear lots of daily whispers which sometimes I act on them and sometimes I don't.
The VRT selection process normally commences around midday on the eve of the racing when initial checks of ground and weather forecasts are made. The next task is to work through the day's races and find those where the favourite looks vulnerable and then these need to be reduced to those where another horse has a good chance too. Form study now kicks in with checks on the trainer's current performance (regarded as critical that it is positive) the jockey involved and investigation of any patterns that would influence the potential winner.
If a horse emerges from this then the suitability of the course is checked and a look at the video of the last couple of races run. Any possible competition is similarly checked to ensure it can be discounted.
In the end the horses that will form the next days advice are chosen and prices checked against the opening books - normally Bet365 and Paddy Power are the first to show. If the price for the selection is considered value then the runner is confirmed.
I say all this so readers can appreciated that I put in a lot of time and energy into my selection process. I take it very seriously indeed and if you choose me as a race advisor I think you should know this.
